A sisterhood at Indiana University is under investigation following allegations of hazing rituals related to sex and drugs, a report said.
Jurors in the Kappa Kappa Gamma Delta Chapter were reportedly forced to participate in an activity called “blow or blow” – where they were instructed to choose between sniffing a line of cocaine or having oral sex on a man, according to the Indiana Daily Student .
“Kneel! The boys are coming,” recalled former chapter member Langdan Willoughby, an older sister of a brotherhood yelling at her about 50 other promises.

The promises were supposedly instructed to shut up and be silent in the fellowship’s basement, while the older sisterhood sisters, dressed in lingerie, ran around them screaming, laughing and wielding wooden oars, before finally being told that sex and drug activity was a joke.
Willoughby told the Indiana Daily Student that she was “totally disturbed physically, emotionally and spiritually by all of this” and left the fellowship last summer because of these events and because of issues of inclusion and racism that she experiences as one of the only black women at home.
Two other women who were present that night, but remained anonymous for “fear of retaliation”, corroborated important details.
Other women from the 2017 and 2019 promise classes spoke anonymously to the Indiana Daily Student and described similar events that took place during those years as well.
In 2017, the jury class was instructed to undress and run into the forest, which the sisters turned out to be a joke when a member of the jury class started crying.
In 2019, drunken older sisters verbally rebuked the promises, calling them “sluts” and shouting other insults, for about 15 minutes in a “terrifying” event that left several women in tears.

All the women said that these events take place on Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Big Little Night, an annual event where the promises are combined with an older member of the fellowship as their “big sister” and mentor.
The day after the student newspaper released the story, the national fraternity organization announced in an e-mailed statement that an investigation into the allegations was pending, the Indy Star reported.
“The Kappa Kappa Gamma Delta Chapter at Indiana University is one of our oldest chapters, but we will not stand still while instances of violence or threat of violence are perpetuated among our members. The health and safety of our members is always our top priority “said the organization.
IU spokesman Chuck Carney also announced via email that the university has put the fellowship on “cease and desist”, a provisional measure amid an ongoing investigation that suspends all organizational activities, Indy Star reported. .
The organization is one of three Greek life organizations at the university placed to cease and desist in 2020-2021, in addition to eight other Greek life organizations that are fully suspended.

Until now, the Delta Chapter was the oldest Kappa Kappa Gama chapter continuously active in the country. The chapter hasn’t commented publicly – or posted anything on its normally active Instagram – since the allegations surfaced.
