Incredible games completed quickly in 2021 raises more than $ 2.7 million for charity

All Games Done Quick 2021, the video game speedrunning marathon that raises money for charity, has just raised $ 2,758,847 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Games made quickly announced the incredible news on Twitter, while thanking everyone involved and promised that his next big event – Summer Games Done Quick 2021 – will come in the future.

AGDQ 2021, which ran from January 3 to 10, saw 25,651 donors from around the world make 42,089 donations to reach the impressive total amount.

There were 157 races in total that had speedrunners playing in games like Final Fantasy VII, Super Mario 64 (blindfolded!), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Beat Saber and more.

Although AGDQ 2021 may not have raised as much money as AGDQ 2020’s $ 3.13 million, it is important to note that this event was entirely online, unlike last year. Summer Games Done Quick 2020 was also online, and that event raised $ 2.3 million.
