A GameSpot reader shared an image of Apex Legends online earlier today, which suggested a crossover event with Mass effect soon for the real battle.
The image shows the amulet of the “N7” weapon, listed as a Game Pass advantage on the Xbox Series X dashboard. As it is listed in this category, it will probably not be a reward for completing any mission or purchase available in the store, but a gift for EA Play subscribers.

This image is not the first hint of a cross between the two games. In November 2020, several charms for weapons with Mass effect and Plants versus zombies themes were leaked online by dataminers, although the N27 was not one of them. According to the leaker, they would be rewards for purchasing an EA Play subscription.
EA Games is the publisher of both Apex and the Mass effect franchise, so a crossover and rewards linked to the EA Play subscription would make sense.
Crossover rewards can come Apex close to the release date of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition set for May 14, which will remaster the three main games in the franchise.
It is not space, but there are still many cosmetics for Apex players now. The Chaos Theory Collection event was launched a few days ago and will run until March 23. It features new epic and legendary exclusive cosmetics, a new heritage for Bangalore and new caustic-themed zones in Kings’ Canyon.
The division by classification is also coming to an end, also scheduled for March 23. Finally, portable players can choose the Apex on the Nintendo Switch, released on March 9th.
