So Mike Tannenbaum, former executive vice president of Operation Dolphin Football, which seems like an invented position, was in Espn earlier today and said that;
Mike Tannenbaum on ESPN right now: “If Justin Fields plays well in the coming weeks, he will be in the conversation in both Miami and the Jets.”
– Adam Beasley (@AdamHBeasley) December 30, 2020
Should I worry about it at all? I know I’m writing this blog so you can say that I care what it says. For that, I cannot say that you are wrong.
But what I mean is why should I or anyone else give a lot of importance to what Tannenbaum says? He said nothing of note. All he is saying is that if Justin Fields plays well in the coming weeks and if he is available when the Dolphins are choosing next year’s draft, the Dolphins will potentially have an argument about it. Well, no, duh, they would have a conversation about it.
If Tannenbaum said he spoke to someone within the Dolphin organization, I would understand people making an almost agreement about it. He didn’t say that. Instead, he used the very strong word, which is not about fences, “could” when talking about the Dolphins talking about Justin Fields. Very brave of him, in fact.
I’m a guy from Tua completely, but we need to be honest about how he played. It’s been going up and down mostly with highs but the lows don’t look good. I think Stone Cold Brian Flores, Chris Grier and company actually chose Justin Fields or any other quarterback in the first round? No, I don’t think so, regardless of what happens on Sunday. But we saw Flores get rid of Tunsil, Minkah and pull Fitzpatrick when he played well for Tua. Then we saw him put Tua on the bench twice for Fitzpatrick, just to say, immediately after those matches that Tua was the starter. Understand, Brian Flores will do what he wants, when he wants, and he doesn’t care how the media portrays him.
So yes, if the Dolphins have a realistic chance to write Justin Fields, Flores and Grier will talk about it. Great deal. Do you think they don’t talk about their best players, like Howard, if another team cares about him? To quote the million-dollar man, “Everyone has a price”
This is bad because this is just the first of those useless discussions about guys like Tannenbaum who just say meaningless things, with nothing credible behind it, and then online idiots act as if what they’re saying is real when they don’t have it. idea. I’m not looking forward to it.
