If the dark mode of Twitter has recently changed for you, you are not alone

The feeling of opening Twitter and realizing that something is out it is probably not new, but it is generally not related to the site’s color scheme. However, some users (and Border team) are now seeing that the dark mode of the Twitter desktop got darker, or worst, has been changed to light mode.

Twitter says The Verge that the change from blue to black was intentional – it is part of an update to make the Twitter website respond to the light and dark modes of its operating system. Of course, if you lose the dark blue, you can bring it back by going to Twitter’s display settings and choosing the Dim mode (instead of Lights out in dark black or the bright pattern), and the site should remember that preference .

If your Twitter has changed from dark to light, the company says it shouldn’t. This was caused by a bug and could have happened to you if Twitter was set to Dim or Lights Out mode, but your operating system was in light mode. Go to the screen settings to change them back if you want.

Twitter should remember your color and background settings after you choose one.

While there, you can also choose an accent color if you’re tired of blue.
