Drake just won a historic debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with three songs at the top of the charts, and he took the opportunity to thank one of his inspirations.

After all Scary Hours 2 EP with Lil Baby and Rick Ross stole the top three places, Drizzy decided to throw a “1-2-3” themed party. The celebrations included a cake with the top 10 on the table and several notable guests. Among them was Bow Wow, who appeared in a series of videos alongside Drake through his Instagram stories.

In a clip that Drake shared, he said, “I want to thank you, man.” Bow Wow interrupted, congratulating him.

After the celebrations subsided, Champagne Papi posted more videos in their stories, one detailing his friendship with the rapper and Tokyo Drift star meant to him.

“I had to connect with Wizzle. Everyone wants to drink and everyone wants to celebrate and show up and, you know, I just had to see Wizzle. I had to see Wizzle in person,” he said of Bow Wow. ” If it weren’t for you, there wouldn’t be me. That’s why – you know the rest, that’s why I’m a stone with you forever. “

Drake is ready to release his highly anticipated album Certified Lover this year, and judging by the success of Scary Hours 2 it will make a big noise when it finally arrives. It is currently unclear whether “What comes next” or any other Scary Hours 2 songs will appear on the album, but Drizzy shared Lil Durk’s single “Laugh Now Cry Later” from the album last year.
