While many people question whether there will ever be another sequence in the Friday franchise, Ice Cube took to Instagram to reveal that it doesn’t seem likely.
Cube posted a cartoon of the original Friday characters along with the caption, “#freefriday from the jaws of Warner Bros. that refuses to do more sequences. They stole the happiness of culture.”
This happened after Ice Cube told host Seth Meyers last year that he plans a room Friday were paralyzed after the death of John Witherspoon, who played “Pops” in all three films. At the time of the interview, Ice Cube stated that the plans for the film were in the background and the recent news about Warner Bros. make it look even more unlikely in the near future.
