Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy broke her silence about her alleged relationship with Alex Rodriguez – exclusively telling Page Six that she and the former MLB star never met in person, and only spoke on the phone.
Rumors bubbled up among LeCroy’s friends that she had “an affair” with the slugger – and they exploded in the public eye after Andy Cohen of Bravo mentioned during a “Southern Charm” reunion show, “a very famous … former MLB player “.
But LeCroy told us on Wednesday that she and A-Rod “never met”.
She clarified that they “spoke on the phone”. “That’s the truth,” she said, adding that they “were never physicists … never had any kind of thing. Just an acquaintance. “
Bravo’s star revealed: “He never physically cheated on his bride with me”, and added that she “spoke to him at random, but not consistently”. She did not reveal the content of the calls, but said she was “innocent”.
LeCroy did not specify when the alleged calls occurred. But she said the rumors had skyrocketed because “it was like a phone game” in her social circle and “I told the wrong person” that she had contacted A-Rod.
“All of that was a year ago [but] it’s being broadcast now, ”she said, after the accusations were posted on the meeting program.
Moderator Cohen said on the show that he was trying to uncover a rumor about LeCroy and a person whose name was postponed. Instead, Cohen said, “I must say, a very famous and married former MLB player.”
Rodriguez is not married – but is engaged to pop superstar Jennifer Lopez.
LeCroy told Page Six that the name spoken on the meeting program was in fact A-Rod – but added that she “told them they couldn’t use it”.
“I don’t know what to do,” said a LeCroy, who looked troubled, on Wednesday. “I tried to be as quiet as possible. I don’t want anything bad for his family or mine. We are definitely innocent in that. “
Sources close to the A-Rod said he and LeCroy never met.
A source also told Page Six: “Alex and Jennifer are very happy. They are together and building a house in Miami Beach. The source said they were inseparable during the pandemic, and that on Wednesday they were seen driving in Coral Gables, Florida, in a red convertible.
