Don’t be fooled by the soft skin she has – botox she doesn’t have.
So says Jennifer Lopez, who commented directly on Instagram that the 51-year-old star “definitely” had “tons” of Botox.
This happened after Lopez – who recently talked about refusing a boyfriend’s suggestion to apply Botox in her 20s, adding: “my face would be a totally different face today” – shared a video of her marveling at the results of using That Limitless Glow Mask from its recently launched Jlo Beauty line.
“Honestly, I can’t even see a line on my face”, the Hustlers star talks about her “shiny and beautiful” skin after wearing the mask in the video posted on Instagram this weekend.
One commentator was not so sure that the mask alone was to be grateful, however.
“But I can only mention that the eyebrows and forehead don’t move when you speak or try to express yourself,” wrote the poster. “You definitely have Botox. And tons of it. And everything is fine. Just saying.”
It didn’t take long for Lopez to respond.
“LOL, this is just my face !!!!” the actress and singer wrote back. “For the 500 millionth time … I never had Botox or any injectables or surgery !! Just saying.’ Get some JLo Beauty and feel beautiful in your own skin !!
“And here’s another secret from JLo Beauty,” she added. “Try to spend your time being more positive, kind and uplifting with others. Don’t spend your time trying to demean others, it will keep you young and handsome as well. Sending your love. “
Others rushed in defense of Lopez, accusing the commentator of being “envious”. Some shared the commentator’s skepticism, however, accusing Lopez of misrepresenting his routine and stigmatizing Botox. “I mean, I love her, but honestly, no lines ?! Come one, ”read a comment.
Speaking for Elle in December, Lopez credited positivity and self-love for his youthful appearance.
“Every day, I say, ‘I am young and timeless at all ages,'” she explained. “’I live a beautiful adventurous life with my children, and we are all in perfect health, always.’ All these amazing things that you learn to say to yourself, so this positive internal conversation in your head really creates a beautiful person on the inside that keeps a beautiful person on the outside. “
