Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is spending Valentine’s Day in isolation after a positive test for COVID-19.

On Sunday, the first Jersey Shore star revealed his diagnosis to fans on social media.

“Happy Valentine’s Day! This is a little different,” wrote the mother of three 33-year-old children.

“I have COVID. I’ve been isolated in my room since I found out. My family and I have been super cautious and careful, so this is super scary. “

Polizzi continued to share her symptoms, which she says she initially presented as “just a severe cold from the sinuses”, with a “headache, stuffy nose and mild cough”. The reality star decided to get tested for coronavirus after starting to feel “super tired”.

She added that her family tested negative for the virus, “so I’m here hiding in my room until this is over.”

Although Polizzi has told fans that he currently feels “groggy” and has lost his sense of taste and smell, his sense of humor remains intact. She lamented the fact that she couldn’t “taste the shit at all” while eating cheese pizza on Saturday, saying “WHAT A SIN.”

She also kept her spirits up a little on Valentine’s Day. Her post features a selfie holding a bouquet of red and white roses that she revealed was thrown on her floor – along with chocolates and a festive balloon – by her family in honor of the holiday.

“Still showing my love of quarantine on Valentine’s Day!” she joked.

She ended the post by telling followers that she was “OK” and urging them to “please stay safe”

Polizzi’s friends on the Jersey Shore were among those who responded to her news.

“Can I throw chocolates at your window?” asked close friend Jenni “JWoww” Farley.

“Thank you for speaking your truth. You will not be silenced, ”commented Vinny Guadagnino, while Lauren Sorrentino, wife of Mike“ The Situation ”Sorrentino, told Polizzi to“ feel better ”.

Polizzi shared more about her symptoms – which she initially tried to treat with flu medications like VapoRub, which she says she doesn’t smell anymore – in her Instagram stories.

“I feel like I ran a marathon, but I’m fine,” she added, wearing a face mask on the bed. “I think the worst part is not being able to taste it now.”

She added that she is “following the rules” to protect her husband and children.

“I will stay away from my family and we will all be quarantined until this is over,” she told fans.
