Huskers Announces Ticket Information for Spring Games and Remaining Events at Home

Nebraska Athletics announced plans for the Husker football game on May 1, Wednesday night. Huskers will welcome fans back to Memorial Stadium for the first time since fall 2019.

Mobile tickets for the spring game will go on sale on April 1, with the stadium’s capacity set at approximately 50 percent. All fans attending the spring game must wear a facial covering at all times at Memorial Stadium.

“The spring game environment in Nebraska is unlike anywhere else in the country, and we are excited to welcome Husker fans back to Memorial Stadium on May 1,” said Athletic Director of Nebraska Bill Moos said. “We are committed to providing a safe, healthy and fun environment and celebrating the unofficial kickoff for the 2021 football season.”

Details on the spring 2021 game are as follows:

  • All spring game tickets are reserved at prices set at $ 10 for stadium seats and $ 20 for club seats.
  • To accommodate approximately 50% of capacity, all other lines will be sold in full throughout Memorial Stadium. This will allow for social distance in front of and behind the fans.
  • Donors and ticket holders for the season will receive an email communication about their first ticket purchase opportunity on Thursday, April 1st. Fans with the opportunity to purchase tickets for the spring game on April 1 will have a maximum limit of four tickets per account.
  • Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 2 starting at 10am. A minimum of 7,500 tickets will be kept for the public after the donor / ticket holder for the season on sale on April 1. Fans who purchase tickets through the public at- the sale will be limited to a maximum of four tickets.
  • All participants in the spring 2021 game must purchase a ticket, regardless of age.
  • The start of the game is scheduled for 13h, with television coverage to be determined.

More details about game day protocols, procedures and amenities for fans will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the May 1 spring game.

Remaining spring sporting events

In addition, following Wednesday’s Big Ten Conference announcement about the return of fans to the athletic events of the conference, Nebraska determined ticket plans, fan capacity and protocols for various sports for the remainder of the athletic season. 2020-21.

Nebraska ticketing plans for all locations follow current health measures driven by Lincoln / Lancaster County, including a minimum distance of six feet between seating groups and groups of no more than eight customers.   • Customers will be limited to a maximum of four tickets.
  • With the number of tickets limited, fans must sit in their designated seats to maintain social distance.
  • Tickets for the rest of Huskers’ 2021 home programming will go on sale at a later date.
  • Double headers will be entered as an event.
  • Capacity at Hawks Field will be approximately 2,700, including reserved seats and general admission tickets in grassy seating areas.
  • Concession booths will open with a limited menu. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
  • Parking will be handled normally at home baseball games.

Softball

  • Tickets for this weekend’s series with Penn State will go on sale to ticket holders for the 2020 softball season on Thursday, March 25 at 10 am
  • Any remaining tickets will be made available to the public on Friday, March 26 at 10:00 am
  • Customers will be limited to a maximum of four tickets.
  • With the number of tickets limited, fans must sit in their designated seats to maintain social distance.
  • Tickets for the rest of Huskers’ 2021 home programming will go on sale at a later date.
  • The double headers will be marked as an event.
  • The capacity at Bowlin Stadium will be approximately 675, including reserved seats and general admission seats in the grass areas of the shoulders.
  • Concession booths will open with a limited menu. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
  • Parking will be handled normally at home softball games.

Football

  • The first football game open to the public will be Sunday’s match against Penn State. The Thursday afternoon home game against the Rutgers will be open only to those on the student-athlete and coach lists.
  • Tickets for Nebraska’s game against Penn State on Sunday will go on sale to ticket holders for the 2019 football season at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 25.
  • Any remaining tickets will be made available to the public on Friday, March 26 at 10:00 am
  • Customers will be limited to a maximum of four tickets.
  • With the number of tickets limited, fans must sit in their designated seats to maintain social distance.
  • Tickets for the Nebraska home final on April 3 against Iowa will go on sale next week.
  • The capacity at Hibner Stadium will be approximately 675 fans.
  • The concessions will be available at the April 3 football game, but not Sunday’s match with Penn State.
  • Parking will be handled normally at home football matches.

Volleyball

  • Tickets for Nebraska’s two remaining home games against Penn State on April 1 and 2 will be available only to ticket holders for the volleyball season.
  • Ticket holders for the volleyball season will be contacted directly about ticket sales details.
  • Without seats available on the floor due to health and safety protocols, the capacity of the Devaney Center will be limited to approximately 2,400 fans. Nebraska Athletics cannot guarantee that all ticket holders for the volleyball season will have the opportunity to watch one of two home matches against Penn State.
  • Concession booths will open with a limited menu. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
  • The details of the volleyball parking will be communicated to the ticket holders.

Nebraska also has disputes at home in men’s and women’s tennis and men’s golf. These are non-ticket sporting events, with spectator limits and health and safety protocols run by the on-site sporting events manager.
All plans are subject to change based on adjustments to health measures directed at Lincoln / Lancaster County.
