Hunter Biden lost business after the revelation of an affair with Brother Hallie’s widow

Hunter Biden lost clients after it was revealed that he was sleeping with his brother Beau Biden’s widow, Hallie Biden, as of 2016, he said in an interview on Sunday.

“You said you lost customers because of that. Did you lose business because of that? Did you have to leave the World Food Program?” CBS Sunday Morning journalist Tracy Smith asked Hunter Biden.

HUNTER SAYS HE BEGAN A RELATIONSHIP WITH LATE BROTHER WIDOW WHEN SHE WAS ‘NEEDED’

Biden served on the board of the U.S. World Food Program from 2011 to 2017, according to PolitiFact.

“Yes. I made a lot of decisions that I probably shouldn’t have made,” said President Biden’s son. “There was a lot more compassion and understanding from people who knew me. But it was also a horrible time.”

Young Biden said he understood why other people would be “confused” by the case.

“I think people were confused by this. I understand that. I really do,” he said. “For me, it is not difficult to explain because it arose from a really overwhelming pain that we both share. And we were together and trying to do the right thing. And that pain turned into a hope for a love that maybe could replace what we lost. And it didn’t work. “

Biden details the case in his memoir “Beautiful Things”.

“It was a case based on necessity, hope, fragility and condemnation,” he wrote according to a copy of the book obtained by Fox News.

After the funeral of his brother Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015, Hunter said he started spending a lot of time at Hallie Biden’s house to help with the children in Beau’s absence. He said he slept most nights in a Murphy bed in the office and took the kids to school in the morning.

But it wasn’t until Hunter finished a stint at Grace Grove rehab in Sedona, Arizona, that he and Hallie started a relationship, according to Hunter.

“Feeling physically and mentally clean, I called Hallie and asked if she could come to Arizona to pick me up. I wanted her to accompany me on the return trip,” wrote Hunter in “Beautiful Things.” “I didn’t trust myself to go home without backing off – without making a detour to the pit I fell on the way there.”

“She flew the next day. I was at my lowest point, she was at her most needy, and we clung to each other with abandon. We talked at length about how much we come to rely on each other, how our health and well – being seemed dependent on the love we came to share, “he said.
