Humiliated Prince Harry: Post-Megxit request rejected by Queen in brutal ‘two-second’ coup | Royal | News

In November, the Duke of Sussex was not allowed to place a wreath on the Cenotaph in his name. Prince Harry made a personal request to Buckingham Palace, but the courtiers denied it, claiming that it no longer represented the monarchy.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior members of the royal family early last year.

His Majesty took “two seconds in total” to make his decision on the subject of the crown according to a source.

Prince Harry is believed to have been “deeply saddened” by the queen’s decision, according to the Daily Mail’s royal correspondent, Rebecca English.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to the United States in March with their baby son Archie.

In November, the Sussexes released pictures of them doing floral tributes at the Los Angeles National Cemetery.

Palace sources said His Majesty declined the duke’s request and made his decision “in less than a minute,” according to the newspaper.

A source said: “Remembrance Sunday is sacrosanct when it comes to His Majesty’s diary, it is one of the most important dates on your calendar and nothing is done without your knowledge.”

They added: “People were suggesting that the Palace’s reaction to what Harry asked was petty, but it was the Queen’s decision.

Since leaving their royal duties, the Sussex have signed deals with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify.

Their job choices may affect the type of relationship they will have with the Company in the future.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Going back would mean that they would have to undo all the business calls they have already made, and clearly Harry and Meghan don’t want to do that.

“Harry and Meghan are clearly where they want to be, and good luck to them.

“But his later career choices did away with any chance of maintaining even an almost official, real role.”

Royal commentators have asked the queen to remove the royal Sussex titles.

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan accessed Twitter to criticize the couple for their “shameful” use of royal titles.

He wrote: “I think they are a pair of tasteless vagabonds who exploit their royal titles for big commercial gains, although they do not fulfill any of the duties that it implies being a member of the Royal Family.

“It is shameless, shameful and the Queen should prevent them by removing the titles.”
