Humid Friday to make way for the weekend sun!

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – One last rainy day before we leave for a sunny weekend! A low pressure area will slowly move away from Lowcountry today, ending the rain tonight. Most of the day will be humid, cloudy and cold with highs only in the 40s, about 20 degrees below the average for this time of year. The showers will slowly decrease in the late afternoon and early evening. The sky will clear up during the night, leading to a cold start on our weekend. Morning lows will be between 30 and 30 seconds on Saturday and Sunday. Expect a sunny but cool Saturday, with highs in your 50s. Some clouds will begin to move into the area late Sunday, before our next storm system, as a rapidly moving cold front approaches. This will bring some clouds and some showers on Monday. The rainy weather will be short lived, with sun and dry weather returning on Tuesday and Wednesday. The temperature will reach 60 next week!
