Human hunt underway for a man the police say killed his mother, a teenager in Gwinnett County – WSB-TV Channel 2

GWINNETT COUNTY, Georgia. – Gwinnett police are at the scene of a double homicide on Flowery Branch.

Police were called to the house along Apple Grove Road shortly after 2 pm, with reports that two people were shot inside.

When the police arrive, they find a 40-year-old mother and 16-year-old son with gunshot wounds. Police have not released the names of the victims at this time.

Investigators are actively looking for William Jerome Adams, 24, in connection with the murders.

He is believed to have fled the area in a 2010 black Audi sedan labeled RWT9487 from Georgia. He is described as being about 6′2 ″ and weighing around 210 pounds.

Police believe Adams may have had a relationship with his mother.
