Hulu with Live adds 14 channels in expanded business with ViacomCBS

ViacomCBS today announced a new agreement with Hulu that will bring more content from ViacomCBS ‘brand portfolio to Hulu with Live TV.

The multi-year deal will allow Hulu to continue broadcasting its current CBS channels, including CBS Sports, Pop TV, Smithsonian Channel and CW, and Viacom’s current channels, including Showtime premium subscriptions. Hulu with Live will also add 14 new channels, including BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, VH1, CMT, Nick Jr., TV Land, BET Her, MTV2, NickToons, TeenNick and MTV Classic.

“We are thrilled to have reached an expanded agreement with Hulu that underscores the value of our powerful brand portfolio for next generation TV platforms and viewers,” said Ray Hopkins, president, US Networks Distribution, ViacomCBS. “Hulu remains a great partner, and this agreement ensures that Hulu + Live TV subscribers can now enjoy the full breadth of our leading news, sports and entertainment content for the first time.”

The addition of the new channels comes after Hulu with the recent price increase for Live, which increased the monthly subscription cost from $ 54.99 to $ 64.99.
