Huge Pokémon rumor of 2019 resurfaces after Nintendo fans realize it’s coming true

A new Pokémon 2019 rumors have resurfaced online after Nintendo fans discovered the various accurate predictions that leaked. The rumor is not only two years old, but also comes from 4chan, which has a reputation for producing false rumors and leaks. However, as a Reddit user points out, he accurately predicted Galarian Sr. Mime and its evolution. In addition, it retransmitted how fossils would function in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield before it was revealed how the fossils would work in the Switch game pair.

The original rumor made three claims though. There are only two. The third statement is that after Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, the next mainline games would be a remake of Pokémon Pearl and Pokémon Diamond, and according to a ton of recent rumors and leaks, that’s exactly what’s happening this year.

This is not all the rumor said about the upcoming mainline games. He also mentions that he will have Pokémon Let’s Go’s capture mechanics, which would prove controversial if it were true.

It is important to note the short and sweet rumor that mentions that these remakes would be released in 2020, which would normally be a red flag, because obviously, this did not happen, however, being wrong does not automatically mean the whole thing is wrong. Furthermore, as far as we know, that could have been the plan until the pandemic hit and stopped everything.

For now, take everything here with a grain of salt. While it is reasonable to reexamine the rumor, since parts of it have since come true, it is still a rumor and, like all information of an unofficial type, should be taken with skepticism.

At the time of publication, Nintendo and Game Freak did not comment on the rumor, and they are unlikely to do so, as both maintain a very strict “no comment” policy when it comes to rumors, reports, leaks and everything else. unofficial and speculative variety. That said, as always, if a comment is provided or if more relevant information emerges, we will be sure to update the story accordingly.
