Although long-standing Danger! host Alex Trebek died on November 8, 2020, fans of the game show still managed to catch your familiar face on TV. Given the advance with which the program is recorded, episodes from the past two months have almost everything new – making it look like Trebek is still out there, playing with competitors during commercial breaks.

Unfortunately, our stock of new episodes featuring Trebek as the host of Danger! decreased, leaving us with a last week of shows. See how to watch them and some other ways to celebrate the legacy of the pop culture icon.

How to watch Trebek’s final episodes of Danger!

Originally, the new final episode of Danger! hosted by Trebek should air on Christmas day– December 25, 2020 – but there was a change in the schedule “due to anticipation” around the holidays, Wrap reports. Instead, from December 21, 2020 to January 1, 2021, the game show aired two weeks of reruns with some of the Trebek’s favorite episodes from around the world.

But this week is – really this time. The latest new episodes of Danger! presenting Trebek will run from This week, Monday through Friday, with the final program airing on Friday, January 8th. In addition to unforeseen changes in programming, a Sony representative said Trebek’s the last week of episodes has been postponed “to give its millions of fans a chance to see their latest appearances”.

The week will begin on Monday, January 4, with a “powerful message about the donation season” and end on Friday with “a special tribute to the life and work of the man who ran the favorite question and answer program for America with skill, style and sophistication for 36+ years, ”a Sony representative told The Wrap.

Danger! will continue to air on its normal schedule and on open TV, which means that most people should be able to watch programs through an antenna, even if they don’t have a cable or a live TV streaming service like Hulu Plus. Check your local listings for details.
