How to Watch San Francisco-Arizona

This week, the NFL scheduled games for Christmas Friday and the following Saturday, in addition to the typical Sunday and Monday competitions.

With limited college football games on Saturday, there are three NFL clashes: Buccaneers-Lions, 49ers-Cardinals and Dolphins-Raiders. But not everyone will be able to watch the San Francisco vs. Arizona game.

The 49ers-Cardinals game is scheduled to start at 4:30 pm Eastern time, but – unlike the other two Saturday games available on the NFL Network, in addition to local channels – is not being broadcast on traditional TV. Instead, this game is available at Amazon Prime and Muscular contraction, as well as local channels in the respective San Francisco and Arizona markets (KSAZ in Phoenix and KNTV in the San Francisco Bay Area), ESPN reported.

So, unless you are local to one of these teams or have access to Amazon Prime or Twitch, you are out of luck for this Saturday afternoon game.

However, the game is being produced by CBS, the network noted, so Andrew Catalon, James Lofton and Sherree Burruss will still be part of the Amazon Prime broadcast. Here are some more details about the 49ers-Cardinals situation, via CBS Sports:

“… Amazon won an independent game as part of a new streaming deal that the internet giant signed with the NFL in April. The deal not only gave Amazon the rights to broadcast the games from Thursday until 2022, but it also included a game for Amazon that would not be available for any national TV network and that game is what is being played on the afternoon of Saturday in Arizona. “

So there it is. Saturday’s 49ers-Cardinals game is the only NFL game this season that has not been broadcast on traditional TV.
