How to watch: Post Malone in the headline of the Pokémon Day virtual show on Saturday

February 27 is Pokémon Day, 25 years since Pokémon Red and Green launched in Japan, and rapper Post Malone is the headliner of a virtual show to mark the anniversary. It will start at 4pm PT on Saturday (7pm ET / 12pm Sunday GMT / 10am Sunday AEST) and will be incorporated below as it becomes available. We have a preview on Thursday, with Malone’s Cape from the Hootie and the Blowfish 90s classic, Only Wanna Be With You.

For now, enjoy the trailer, in which the musician undergoes an unnerving CGI transformation.

If YouTube is not your first choice for a virtual concert venue, the concert will also be broadcast live on Twitch. The official Pokémon website will also show the show. Katy Perry will participate in another musical event “P25”.

The Pokémon Company also revealed some important new games for Nintendo Switch in a live stream on Friday: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are coming out later this year, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus arrives in early 2022. New Pokémon Snap, which comes out on April 30, has a new trailer as well.
