How to watch Pokémon Presents, a new live stream with Pokémon news

The Pokémon Company will release some Pokémon news on Friday, February 26 during a live broadcast of Pokémon Presents. The show starts at 10am EST / 7am PST, and you can watch it live on YouTube here or on Twitch. Today’s Pokémon Presents should last about 20 minutes.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise, which started in 1996 with Pokémon Red and Blue. The Pokémon Company hasn’t said exactly what it will announce during the Pokémon Presents video, but it expects many reminders of the Pokémon’s big birthday – and probably some game announcements.

Many fans are waiting for a remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. These two games were originally released in 2006 in Japan, but had a wider release in 2007. It is the 15th anniversary of the games this year, so a remake would be very timely. But the Pokémon Company already has a lot on its list of advertisers, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, and continuous updates to Pokémon Go.

This Saturday is “Pokémon Day”, which includes a virtual concert with musician Post Malone.
