How to start the Dead Man’s Tale exotic quest

For Destiny 2 players who have purchased the Season of the Chosen Season Pass, see how to start Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Quest.

As part of Destiny 2 weekly reset, Bungie added Dead Man’s Tale Exotic to the game’s collections, along with its Exotic Quest, The Voice on the Other Side. Starting the Destiny 2 The Exotic Quest for Dead Man’s Tale is not as simple as some of the other Exotic Quests were in the looter-shooter, so some Guardians may be a little confused about how to get started.

The first thing Destiny 2 players will want to do after downloading the latest update is to go to The Arms Dealer Strike. The Arms Dealer Strike in Destiny 2 it is one of the remaining attacks of the Red War campaign, located in the European Dead Zone. When starting the attack, players should notice a newly opened path that leads to Scorpius’ enemies and culminates in a boss fight with an enemy called Than’Grot. An objective marker should appear to show players exactly where they need to go, but there are conflicting reports about this at the moment.

After defeating Than’Grot, Destiny 2 players can investigate the platform he was on. At the end of the platform there is a blue box and an Intercepted Relief Sign inside. Finish completing the Arms Dealer Strike and then return to the Tower.

With the Distress Signal Intercepted in tow, speak to Commander Zavala. When Zavala finishes speaking, Destiny 2 players must have the option to accept Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Quest, The Voice on the Other Side. The distress signal will take Destiny 2 players to a location on The Tangled Shore, then mark it as the active mission and then open the Destinations menu.

After selecting The Tangled Shore, note a new location in the upper left corner of the map. If the previous steps were completed correctly, Destiny 2 players should see a new Exotic Quest mission called Presage. The recommended power is 1230, so some Destiny 2 players may need to do a bit of grinding before attempting this, but those who play the game regularly should be able to log in immediately and continue the search.

It should be noted that, as with the Hawkmoon Exotic Quest, Destiny 2 players will need to purchase the Season Pass to start Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Quest. THE Destiny 2 The Season Pass also comes with several other advantages, so it may well be worth it for those who play the game regularly.

Destiny 2 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
