If you’re curious to see how much time you’ve actually spent trying to escape the hell of 2020 through video games, your PlayStation knows. Sony has just launched its official “PlayStation Wrap-Up” page, giving PlayStation 4 and 5 players access to an analysis of their gaming habits in the past year. Think Wrapped Spotify, but for your PlayStation.
The report focuses mainly on PS4 players, who can see:
- How many games they played in 2020.
- Total hours played.
- Your most played games.
- How many hours they spent playing online.
- Your average playing times for all days of the week.
- Trophies won.
The Wrap-Up includes some PS5 data, too, if you one of the few that have the console hard to find. You’ll see which games you’ve played, the total hours played and all the trophies you’ve won in 2020.
In addition to your personal metrics, there are also global statistics for popular games released in 2020, such as The Last of Us Part II and Tsushima’s ghost. You can also download a unique PS4 theme.

To access PlayStation Wrap-Up, simply log in to Closing page with your PSN account. You must be 18 years old and accumulate at least 10 hours of gameplay on a PS4 in 2020.
This all assumes that the site really works for you. I tried to access my PlayStation Wrap-Up on Firefox, Edge, Brave and Chrome on Windows and Android, but none of my attempts worked. And it looks like I’m not the only one with this problem. I’d love to show you how much time I spent playing (and repeating) Final Fantasy VII Remake, Demon’s Souls, and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne last year, but unfortunately, the internet goblins thwarted these plans and I haven’t found any workarounds yet.
We hope the problem will be fixed soon – annual finishes like this are usually only available for a limited period. Nintendo has offered its Switch users a similar year under review, but the page is no longer accessible. My guess is that many users are trying to access their PlayStation Wrap-Ups at the same time, so check back often if you’re looking forward to seeing your stats.
Meanwhile, if you are also a PC player, Valve is starting 2021 with a Steam Game Festival with hundreds of free demos to play.
