How to participate in Fortnite Community Battles and earn up to 800 free V-Bucks, rewards and more

Epic Games recently announced the Fortnite Community Battles, which will allow each player to earn up to 800 V-Bucks by completing various tasks.

This event is being presented in collaboration with the Australian Football League (AFL). Players can choose from the 18 different teams participating in the AFL, which are:

  • Collingwood Magpies
  • North Melbourne Kangaroos
  • Sydney Swans
  • Adelaide Crows
  • Fremantle Dockers
  • Gold Coast Suns
  • Port Adelaide Power
  • Western Bulldogs
  • Brisbane Lions
  • Hawthorn Hawks
  • Geelong Cats
  • Essendon Bombers
  • West Coast Eagles
  • Carlton Blues
  • Richmond Tigers
  • GWS Giants
  • Melbourne Devils
  • Saints of São Quilda

Each team will feature a notable content creator and an athlete. Players can choose their favorite team or content creator before starting Fortnite Community Battles.

Choosing a team wisely is extremely important, as the chances of a player winning V-Bucks depend a lot on that.


Fortnite Community Battles

According to the official announcement, the community battle event will be available to players from January 27-31. During this time, players need to earn as many event points as possible by completing tasks and actions in the game. Players can register for the event here.

The entire prize distribution for the Fortnite Community Battles is:

  • In-game spray punt: Rewarded to players for completing at least one event task
  • 200 V-Bucks: Awarded to team players who finish third in the event.
  • 400 V-Bucks: Rewarded to team players who finish second in the event.
  • 800 V-Bucks: Rewarded to players on the team that wins Community Battles and ends in first position.

The team that obtains the highest score obtained in this event will be declared the champion. In addition, each member on that side will receive 800 V-Bucks in Fortnite.
