This page contains information on how to obtain the mythical Isu bow weapon known as Noden’s Arc in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
While Valhalla contains three other mythical weapons based on mythology, a fourth weapon created by the first civilization, Isu, has also been discovered – and the method for finding and unlocking it was hidden in the game’s Collector’s Edition.
After many users began to report that they found an arch hidden under a stone that could be broken by means of an exploit to save and reload, it was confirmed by the game’s creative director that there was a real way to unlock the weapon that had not been found, and the secret lay in deciphering Isu’s language that could be found both in the game and in various sections of the collector’s edition.
On the YouTube access channel, Animus had already deciphered much of Isu’s text and, with the help of the developers, found the remaining details:
- A phrase “The Key is the Sword” suggested in Excalibur’s Big Sword, which was also hidden in a key art of a crow in the collector’s edition. The game description for Excalibur also mentions “Legends say he can break anything.”
- The mention of a lake led to a large lake found on Eurvicscire, and others noted that the shape of the lake also appears to match the shape of the island of Singapore, with Ubisoft’s Singapore location as the X marking the location of the bow (for not to mention the creator of the Isu language working at Ubisoft Singapore).
- The secret text Isu on the back of the lithographs in the collector’s edition can be combined to decipher the time of day when the rock can be broken – when the sun has set.
How to Unlock Noden’s Bow
With the above knowledge in hand, travel to a large lake in the north of Eurvicscire. It is located south of the Brunton Tower, where a Lost Drengr fight was found.
On the south bank of the lake there is a small island and it contains a single rock of ore apparently unbreakable in the middle of the bushes. You will need the Excalibur Broadsword for this, but just swinging it wildly will not solve the problem.
Be patient and wait for the sun to set in the west. As the sun comes out of the horizon, start to swing on the rock, and it will shatter – revealing the Arch of Noden – a legendary mythical arch.
