How to disable Crossplay in Black Ops Cold War & Warzone

See how to make final moves in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

The final moves are a new execution animation, added for the first time in Modern Warfare and continuing in Black Ops Cold War.

Each animation offers a unique and sometimes bloody finisher for unsuspecting players. While in the running animation, both players cannot stop the finisher until it is completed or a player is killed by an enemy.

If you detect someone being executed, we cannot force you not to steal death, but it may be worth watching the show (and the public embarrassment of the enemy) at the cost of some XP.

How to equip finishing moves in the war zone

For Warzone, you will want to go to the operator’s guide in the main menu. From here, select your favorite operator and press the customize operator key. (On the PC it is X by default) On the rightmost tab, you will see a list of finishing moves.

Surprisingly, Black Ops Cold War does not have the same equipment system as Warzone in the operator’s guide. You will have to navigate to the Weapons tab and select Finishing Moves to equip it here.

Get more finishing moves

Final moves are available from the Call of Duty Store as part of packages that can be purchased and are also included in the Season 1 Battle Pass.

Previous finishing moves are available for use in Warzone in Modern Warfare, and currently, certain Black Ops Cold War finishing moves are not available in Warzone.

To see an example of one of the new finishing moves, take a look at the YouTuber ShawnJGaming video below. The completion move starts at timestamp 1:42.

How to perform a finishing move

To make a final move on an opponent, you will want to sneak up behind him (with any weapon) and then press and hold the melee button. If there is enough space and the enemy’s back is pointed at you, you will activate your finisher.

Note that the final moves are different according to the enemy’s posture, so the finisher you complete on a standing enemy will be slightly different from when an enemy is down.

Now go to the field and embarrass some players!
