How-to: Create NFTs on iPhone or iPad with the S! NG

The S! Free NG makes it easy to create NFTs on your iPhone or iPad (and soon on Mac).

With the market in its infancy, a number of platforms for packaging, selling and promoting NFT releases are beginning to emerge. Below, we take a look at a new platform called S! NG that makes it easy for anyone to create, catalog and then sell any idea as an NFT on their iPhone.

What is an NFT? It is likely that you, at least, noticed the trend with NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens). The NFT essentially acts as a property receipt for a digital artwork or other digital asset. The transaction and record of receipt go through cryptocurrency platforms, typically the Ethereum blockchain for transactions we’ve seen so far.

Sotheby’s sold its first piece of digital art by the artist Beeple as an NFT for a record $ 69 million, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey sold his first tweet for $ 2.9 million, while the music industry also adopted the tendency to sell music releases packed with digital art and other advantages, such as concert tickets – Kings of Leon, Grimes and Elon Musk, to name a few.

Create NFTs on iPhone or iPad

Create an NFT with the S! NG is as easy as uploading content to any social media app you’ve ever used.

After downloading the app and creating an account, you can simply upload any file from your iPhone or iCloud Drive to start the process of creating an NFT including audio, videos and images. And you still don’t need an Ethereum wallet set up to get started and create NFTs.

how to do NFT

For the example above, I created an NFT for the cover of the official album of a musical project that I am launching. I simply selected the artwork from my iCloud drive (pulling the artwork that I saved in the folder on my iCloud desktop), filled in some quick information along with a title, and there you go.

For NFTs with multiple contributors, the app makes it easy to share ownership clearly by registering multiple owners in the “Contributors ” guide via email.

how to do NFT

The app automatically starts creating an NFT from what you have uploaded, backing it up to the blockchain and storing it in your catalog within the app (as illustrated above). You can then safely share and track activity from within your catalog.

The S! NG is one of the first platforms I’ve used that makes it really easy for anyone on an iPhone to create and share NFTs quickly and easily, even for those who don’t have an Ethereum wallet or cryptocurrency knowledge. The app is marketed not only as a way to create NFTs that you can eventually sell as commercial releases, but also as the easiest way for artists to register copyrights and catalog their ideas.

This strategy also explains why the S! NG was developed with the ability to record new ideas directly in the application. In addition to choosing files from your iPhone and iCloud Drive, you can take photos or record audio and video directly in the app.

There is currently no editing feature for media that is recorded within the app, so you are limited to simply taking a photo or video with the built-in camera tools or recording an audio snippet. It works to record quick ideas, but some proper editing features can make it a really great tool for musicians and digital artists who develop ideas.

How to sell your NFTs

In addition to plans to launch its own market in the coming weeks, the S! NG will support the integration of the OpenSea API, allowing any user who creates NFTs in the application to easily connect to their OpenSea account to sell them.

In addition to OpenSea, when the S! NG launch its own market, it will present a selection curated by NFTs of top-notch artists. He told us that the market will have zero gas fees (the company eventually plans to sell storage to those with large catalogs), something that should be quite attractive to those selected for the exclusive market, as these rates are usually quite high in other markets. .

The S! NG is supported by a number of notable musicians and artists, including Canadian band leader Our Lady Peace, who serves as Product Director and will be one of the first to release a new single in the next platform market.

You can download the S! NG free on iPhone or iPad.
