See how to get a wonderful weapon in Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies Outbreak mode, now available on all platforms.
Ray Gun, RAI K-84 and DIE Shockwave are available to be obtained in Zombies Outbreak mode from Black Ops Cold War by various means. Being miraculous weapons, all of these tools of destruction will ensure maximum effectiveness when fighting the horde of zombies.
Since each Zombie map has its own individual wonderful weapons to obtain, many initially questioned which ones would be available in Outbreak. Fortunately, Treyarch added them all to the mode, so players don’t have to worry about losing their favorite.
# 1 – Cash withdrawals
Loot boxes are placed on each spike map and include tons of prizes for players to obtain. If you are very lucky, you can actually get a wonderful weapon from the standard boxes. The chances are very low, but possible.
We think your best bet will be in the Golden Loot box, which is a side quest that you can find on your Outbreak journey.
# 2 – Tests
The tests are not new to zombies, but they still offer exceptional rewards. It is highly recommended to update your assessment rewards to the “Legendary” level before redeeming your rewards. If you have completed the Outbreak map, you can still teleport to another one and keep your previous progress from the last map.
Legendary rewards don’t guarantee a wonderful weapon, but they always drop a weapon packed with a punch, which is exceptionally useful. In addition, they also provide a lot of essence and power-ups for your team.
# 3 – Boss Zombies
Boss Zombies appear randomly on the map, and sometimes during main and side missions. The rewards for these Zombies are always good, so if you eliminate enough, you will eventually receive a wonderful weapon. In our game, we managed to make a Ray Gun fall from a Krasny Soldat.
# 4 – Mystery Box
Ah, the classic game strategy with which Zombie fans learned to have a love-hate relationship. If you’re feeling lucky, go around the Mystery Box a few times to try and get your hands on a wonderful weapon. Just be careful not to waste all your hard earned points at once.
I hope this guide helps you a little. Our best tip for getting a wonderful weapon in Outbreak Zombies is to simply do Trials missions. It is by far the best strategy. Good luck out there!
