THE Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge will be available throughout the Valentine’s Day Event at the Pokémon Go.
To complete a Collection Challenge, you need to pick up a specific list of Pokémon during the event with which the challenge is associated. The Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge contains Pokémon of several generations and two legends.
These Pokémon can be captured by defeating them in raids, finding them in the jungle and completing the Valentine’s Day field research tasks. This event also marks the launch of Gen 6 Pokémon Munna and Musharna on Pokémon Go!

Tips for completing the Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge on Pokémon Go
Here are some tips that will help you enjoy every day for the Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge:
- Since most Pokémon for the Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge can be found in the wild, it is a good idea to use Incense to increase your chances of finding these creatures.
- You can also use a Lure Module to attract Pokémon to a specific PokéStops; using the Magnetic Lure will increase your chances of finding Minum or Plusle, while the Mossy Lure will attract the poisonous and insect type Pokémon.
- There are several Pokémon that you can only capture by defeating them in raids, so if you have any spare Remote Raid Passes, this is the time to use them.

- To add Latias and Latios to your Collection Challenge, you’ll want to build dedicated teams that will help you defeat them in raids. Try to prevent any of your Pokémon from passing out during these raids, as this will decrease the amount of Premier Balls you receive.
- If you have trouble finding Luvdisc in the wild, try to hatch some of the 5 km eggs you collect during the Valentine’s Day event.
- During the Valentine’s Day event, there will be a series of field research tasks, which will reward you with some of the Pokémon on the Collection Challenge list. However, you may need to visit several PokéStops to find the research task you need.

How the Pokémon Go Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge works
Pokémon Go Collection Challenges were launched in January 2021 and run alongside certain game events. In each Collection Challenge, you will catch several Pokémon that, thanks to the event, are appearing more frequently in the jungle.
After completing the Collection Challenge by taking all of them, you will be rewarded with a series of items and progress towards your Elite Collector badge.
The Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge takes place alongside the Valentine’s Day event and will be available at Sunday, February 14th at 1pm (local time) through Thursday, February 18th at 8pm (local time).

The Challenges in the collection can be found in the ‘View Today’, which can be accessed by pressing the field search button (the small binoculars) in the lower right corner of the screen. Depending on whether you are looking at your current field or special research tasks, you may have to scroll to the left.
After accessing the ‘Today View’, you will find a list of the Pokémon you need to capture to complete the Collection Challenge. Capturing a Pokémon in the Collection Challenge cock will mark it on the list to keep track of which you have captured and which you have not.

It is important to note that evolving a Pokémon will not count towards the Collection Challenge, which means that you cannot evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon. Instead, you will have to get them.
Remember – the Collection Challenge must be completed before your associated event ends and it disappears.
Good luck completing the Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge!
