The Nintendo Switch is on its way to being Nintendo’s best-selling platform. No, since the Wii, so many people have flocked to a Nintendo console – but that broad appeal means that those who choose one for the first time may not be very familiar with games. But Nintendo has a new program that can help.
With more than 70 million units sold so far, it is likely that a part of the Switch audience will include Mario fans who haven’t used a controller since the 90s, young console owners for the first time, and curious people who arrived late trying out video games for the first time. For those struggling to learn and use their new switch, Nintendo now offers the Nintendo Switch Concierge Program. Switch owners can sign up for free 30-minute video chat meetings with a Nintendo customer service representative. The commitments cover a specific topic, such as:
- Learning to use the Switch console
- Playing games
- Find new games to play
- Create a Nintendo Account
- Online security and privacy
- Customizing the console
You should definitely consider consulting with the Nintendo Switch Concierge if you are feeling intimidated by the device, but be sure to book quickly: TIME slots are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Fortunately, it’s easy to sign up:
- Open the officer Nintendo Switch Concierge page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select one of the topics you want to cover from the list.
- Using the calendar, select a date and time.
- Add your name and email. You can also include your phone number, address and any other notes you would like to add, but are optional.
- Click “Book” to send the appointment.
- You will receive a confirmation email from [email protected]
- On the day of your appointment, use the link in that email to start a video chat with a Nintendo representative. They will guide you through the basics of the topic you’ve selected and help answer additional questions you may have.
