How To 12-Man Raid In ‘Destiny 2,’ Maybe Its Greatest Glitch to Date

Well, a new exploit is circulating on Destiny 2, and it’s time to try it out before it is fixed. Before you start yelling at me for talking about it, I know for sure that Bungie is We will already aware of it (many major streamers have done this), so a fix is probably on the way. But until then, it’s time to have fun.

What is happening? The way this works is that you can have:

  • 7 to 12 people on raids.
  • Flames for 4-9 people in dungeons and Nightfalls.

I believe this was discovered a week or two ago, but it just seems to be circulating now. How you do it? Here’s Cheese Forever talking about the tactic if you want to see a video about it, but I’ll explain below,

In short, you need a team of firefighters to join another in zero seconds when an activity is starting. This is easier to do on the PC with junction codes and you just need to decrease the time. For a raid of 12 people, for example, you need to have a team of six fireteam joining another team of six with a single invitation, which if timed correctly, will pull the completely separate group of six into the raid for a total of 12 .

The same is true for Nightfalls and dungeons, only the limit there is 9, because you can only start it with a team of three. And it can be done by fewer players, of course, if you only want a fourth person to play or something. Again, it is simply a matter of time. It is can I working on the console, it’s just more difficult to time and run because of the lack of membership codes, but you can accept invitations or join the list there. You want to time to get together just before the activity launches, because it takes a short time to get together, if you are trying to reach the “zero join” mark. If you have an overabundance of people in orbit, you are too early. If you can’t get into the activity, it’s too late.

This tactic, of course, makes all of these activities easy, but it’s not like the current attacks are what difficult at first, so I don’t think this is doing too much harm. It’s not like you’re interrupting an invasion race or people are exploring GM Nightfalls farming for insane rewards. That said, I don’t expect this ability to last forever, so if you want to try it for yourself, it’s best to try it quickly before a hotfix is released.

So yes, just a fun thing to try. I would love to see Destiny increase its number of players and the size of the fire crew in the future, as I’m imagining things like carrying 12 people to a public event at the Altar of Sorrow or the Escalation Protocol (without cultivation) or, of course, Bungie planning an invasion intended to be for 12 people first. I don’t think that will happen, but if not, we can see how it can work with this exploit (spoiler: it’s crazy). To enjoy.
