Kourtney also jokes about her sister’s quick marriage to Lamar Odom during the chat.
Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were extremely candid about their sex education and freezing their eggs in a new interview for the Lady Parts virtual series by “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland.
The trio joined OG / GYN Dr. Sherry Ross for the discussion, where Khloe talked about her plans to have another child with Tristan Thompson and how that plan has changed somewhat thanks to Covid’s continuing pandemic.
“In fact, I did IVF about three times. I already froze my eggs once and when I was ready to make embryos with Tristan … freezing your eggs is, of course, a great insurance policy, if you want to,” he explained. Is it over there. “You know they are there. I had about 12, 14 eggs and I thawed them all to mix with the sperm and none of them survived.”
“I am very grateful to have decided to make embryos. I am 36, but what if I was 40 and my eggs were not so healthy and I had to do IVF again to make embryos?” she continued. “We realized that my eggs are not strong enough to be frozen. They must be mixed immediately with the sperm to make embryos. So, I actually made embryos.”
She added that going through the fertility process is “much more challenging during Covid”, joking that: “If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans”.
“So, the only time I’m really trying to plan, God is saying, ‘Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like that!’ she continued. “My plan was to have children of a younger age. But now with Covid and all, my plan was a little late. I definitely want more children. I have a lot of brothers and sisters. I think it is a blessing – especially during these times – to have a family member or people you can play with and trust and have a friend with for the rest of your life. “

During the conversation, Kourtney revealed that she also froze her eggs, after being “convinced” by her family. “Since everyone else is doing this, I could too,” she added, saying she was 39 at the time.
“I think it gave me the feeling of taking a deep breath. I was 39, I was about to turn 40 and everyone was like, if you’re going to do this, you have to do it now, ”she explained. “Stop rushing me, I don’t know if I want to have another child or if it is in the future. Having control over my body, just gave me peace of mind.”
Khloe explained that making embryos gave her the same feeling of relief.
“I feel that once I had True, everyone was pressuring me to have another child and my circumstances were a little different, I was like I didn’t know if I wanted to have other children now,” she said. “For me, I am a super-thinker and planner, what happens if I die, if I leave these children alone, who will take care of them?”
When Kourtney volunteered, Khloe joked that the idea “scares” her too. “They won’t be on a schedule if you take care of them!” she exclaimed.

Khloe underwent fertility treatments while she was married to Lamar Odom, but admitted in a 2017 episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” that she just “tried to pretend” to get pregnant at the time. Speaking to Hyland, she said “I really wanted to enjoy being married for a minute and I was 24. In retrospect, I was like, I can’t even believe I was married at 24”.
“After 9 days of meeting someone,” added Kourtney. “No, no, no,” said Khloe, “I got married after 9 days of being engaged. I had known him for 30 days, all right. Understand me correctly. There is a difference.”
The two Kardashians also revealed how their parents first talked to them about sex.
“I remember my mom talking to me about sex, but I also had the blessing of having two older sisters,” said Khloe, who admitted that those initial conversations made it clear that there was not much focus on being a pleasant experience.
“It was a lot about someone you love, making sure you were with someone you love,” added Kourtney. “We were always told that you wouldn’t have sex before you got married, it wasn’t even an option.”
Khloe said she started taking contraceptives when she was about 14 or 15, adding that she believes it was easier because of her older sisters. “When you are the third child, you have heard everything,” she explained.
“I was so scared of getting pregnant that my parents scared the fuck out of me,” she added. “I had to look at all these looks, if I had sex, this is what would happen to me. I was so scared.”
Khloe added that she felt “much safer” after starting birth control.
