Houston area suburb The Woodlands has declared it the No. 1 city to live in the USA

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (KTRK) – The Woodlands, the planned 28,000-acre community north of Houston, has climbed the Niche list of America’s best cities in the past two years. Now, for the first time, he ranks first.

Niche, an online platform that helps people choose schools and places to live, announced on March 15 that The Woodlands appears first on its 2021 list of the Best Cities to Live in America. The Woodlands was second last year and fourth in 2019.

Niche generates the ratings by analyzing data from the US Census, FBI, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and analyzes millions of resident assessments. Among the classification factors that Niche considers are accessibility, real estate, diversity of neighborhoods, public schools and accessibility on foot.
