OAKLEAF, Fla. A house in Eagle Landing was badly damaged overnight by a fire that started with fireworks left in a trash can, firefighters said.
According to Clay County Fire Rescue, four people were in the house when he caught fire, but they all managed to get out safely and no injuries were reported.
The house was on Club lake Drive, in the Oakleaf area.
According to the Fire Rescue, firefighters determined that the cause of the fire was fireworks that were left in a garbage can in the garage.
The family is working with the Red Cross in search of temporary housing.
