Hospitalizations are still below 200, Iowa approaches 180,000 fully vaccinated

Every day at 10am, we take the numbers from the previous day at 10am and subtract them with the current state numbers at 10am. IOWA

(KWWL) – There were 180 new cases confirmed from 10 am on Sunday to 10 am on Monday, according to the state panel, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 336,511.

The state website reports that of the 336,511 people who tested positive, 315,448 recovered. That represents 314 recoveries more than what the state reported on Sunday.

The death toll in the state is 5,472, which is 1 more than reported yesterday.

Subtracting the number of recoveries (315,448) and the number of deaths (5,472) from the total number of cases (336,331), we see that there are currently 15,141 positive cases active in the state.

As of Monday morning, there were 39 patients hospitalized in Iowa in the past 24 hours and the total number of hospitalizations is 197, up from 196 hospitalized the day before. Of these, 48 are in the ICU (out of 50) and 15 are in ventilators (out of 19).

In Iowa, there were 1,283 people tested in the last 24 hours and a total of 1,559,193 people were tested for COVID-19.

According to the state’s COVID-19 vaccine panel, 679,016 total doses were administered to Iowa residents and 178,875 individuals completed the series, which is 9,258 more than on Sunday. BLACK HAWK COUNTY

From 10am on Monday, the Black Hawk COVID-19 panel is presenting 4 new cases since 10 am on Sunday, leaving a total of 15,905 cases. There were 7 additional recoveries, leaving a total of 14,107. There was an additional death, leaving a total of 291 deaths. In Black Hawk County, 6,131 residents were fully vaccinated.

LINN COUNTY

From 10am on Monday, the Linn County COVID-19 panel is presenting 15 new cases since 10 am on Sunday, leaving a total of 19,425 cases. There were 36 additional recoveries, leaving a total of 17,782 recoveries. There were no additional deaths, leaving a total of 326 deaths in the county. Currently, there are 14 patients admitted to the municipality. In Linn County, 13,387 residents have been fully vaccinated.

JOHNSON COUNTY

According status panel At 10 am on Monday, there are 16 new positive cases reported in Johnson County since 10 am on Sunday. This brings the total to 13,081 reported cases. There were a total of 12,406 recoveries, 22 more reported than yesterday. There were no additional deaths, leaving a total of 73. In Johnson County, 14,393 residents were fully vaccinated.

DUBBLE COUNTY

According status panel at 10 am on Monday, there were 14 additional positive cases reported in Dubuque County since 10 am on Sunday. This brings the total to 12,381 reported cases. There were 6 additional recoveries reported, leaving a total of 11,664. There were no additional deaths reported, leaving a total of 194. In Dubuque County, 7,665 residents were fully vaccinated.
