Honor launches the V40, its first phone after leaving Huawei

Honor unveiled the flagship View40 5G, its first phone since it was sold by Huawei, Chinese Engadget reported. Launched in China as the V40, it could very well come to Europe and other places later under the View brand.

The main feature of the V40 is the 6.72-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 800 nits of maximum brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor and offers 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and a 4,000 mAh battery. The “Mahong-card” rear camera set offers a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and 2-megapixel macro, along with a laser module to improve focus. The 16-megapixel front camera is housed in a tablet-shaped cutout.
