Hollow Knight: Silksong presents Edge 354 headlines

Hollow Knight: Silksong developer Team Cherry took an exclusive look at his long-awaited sequel to Edge Magazine.

Speaking of the Edge 354, which is already on sale and can be purchased digitally from the Apple App Store on here, co-directors Ari Gibson and William Pellen reveal all the new details about Silksong, as well as giving Edge a comprehensive view of the game.

The new world of Pharloom, they say, was designed to take advantage of the Hornet’s increased physicality. Gibson told Edge: “Hornet can travel much faster, she can jump higher, she can spot or climb over ledges, she is generally more acrobatic. Therefore, the caves around her need to expand to accommodate her height.”

You can also expect enemies to present more intriguing challenges. For example, in the original Hollow Knight, players can try to trick enemies into falling off the platforms, while Pellen explains how the inhabitants of Pharloom are more sophisticated in Silksong: “The characters in this game are one step further, where it doesn’t seem right for them to be so simple. Like, they have to have amazing ways to chase, accompany or escape their attacks. “

There’s a lot more to Edge’s cover feature, including never-before-seen screenshots, as well as tempting new details about the world of Pharloom and its inhabitants, so be sure to grab a copy and see firsthand what to expect from the expansive follow-up by Team Cherry. In addition, E354 also presents The Edge Awards, highlighting the games that shone most in 2020, alongside an in-depth look at the realization of Tangle Tower.

If you haven’t already, why not sign up for Edge, ensuring that you are one of the first to receive your copy, as well as saving money on it.
