Hitman 3 players on Google Stadia will be able to share custom scenarios with just one URL

Hitman 3 and the Murder World trilogy launched on January 20, and at launch, Google Stadia players will be able to share access to distinct points within a game thanks to Stadia’s State Share feature.

With State Share in Hitman, you can share a link next to an image or video from your game. Then, other people can click on it to experience the scenario you were playing. There are a number of mission “states” that you can share to personalize the experience, including where a mission starts, objectives, Agent 47 loading, and difficulty level.

The feature works with any campaign or custom mission, and you can still use weapons or items you haven’t yet unlocked if a game state is ahead of your own progress, Stadia product manager Catherine Hsiao said in a post on blog.

The feature opens up many interesting possibilities for the Hitman games. Players can send personalized back and forth scenarios, for example, or live streams can challenge their viewers to experience a particularly difficult mission or specific assassination style they just broadcast live. It is an exclusive feature of Stadia, although the game is also released on consoles and PC.

State Share is not the only technology that exceeds limits reaching Hitman 3 and the Murder World trilogy. On PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, you’ll also be able to play in all locations across all three Hitman virtual reality games.
