‘Hitman 3’ owners won’t have to buy previous games to play their maps

IO Interactive’s plans to allow Hitman 3 players using locations from previous games may not have gone as planned, but that does not mean that you will have to repurchase the first two titles. The developer has promised that PC players who own Hitman or Hitman 2 you won’t have to buy those games another time just to access your previous material in the killer’s new title. He described in a guide that he was “continuing to work on a solution” that would allow importing of locations for free, but did not say when it would be ready in the “next few weeks”.

However, there is a solution. IO said he would do the Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass (to download content for the new game) available for free to all PC customers who pre-order Hitman 3 at the Epic Games Store or buy within the first 10 days. Anyone who owns the original Hitman at EGS you will receive a free GOTY Access Pass when you purchase the third game as well. You won’t be so lucky with Hitman 2, but both Standard and Gold Access Passes will be available at 80% discounts for two weeks after Hitman 3launch of.
