We already knew that Hitman 3 was receiving more content soon, but developer IO Interactive was found to already have a complete list of plans for February. The studio will release new content every week throughout the month, according to a content roadmap published Thursday.
Most of the new content will focus on escalation missions, which are variations of the missions that are already in the game. Climbing missions provide new parameters for existing missions, doing things like changing targets or getting players to eliminate them in very specific ways.
On the first mission of the month, scheduled to leave on February 4, IO will send players back to Dartmoor – but this time, to eliminate all members of the rich Carlisle family while making each death look like an accident. On February 18, players will receive an escalation mission called “The Sinbad Stringent”, which appears to feature knives, boxes and a special touch Hitman 3The first mission in Dubai, although IO did not go into much detail.

The new February content will also include two featured contracts created by MinnMax (Dubai) and KindaFunny (Dartmoor). An update on February 23 will give players who own the Deluxe Edition of the game new items to complete the Mendoza and Carpathian missions in two Deluxe Escalations.
IO is also planning to release a game update that day, but the studio has not explained what would be in it. According to the IO blog post, the patch will include bug fixes and some tweaks to the game, and will prepare players for something called an “Initiation Protocol”. Although this is not very important, IO said it would provide more information about the patch close to the actual release date.
Finally, IO will close the month with new Elusive Targets on the original Sapienza map Hitman, which runs from February 26 to March 8. The game’s elusive targets and escalation missions will be free for all players who own the game – and Hitman (2016) in the case of Sapienza – while the Deluxe Content will only be available to players who own the Deluxe Edition of Hitman 3.
