And you thought your the last move was difficult!
The owners of a 138-year-old Victorian house drove her through the rugged streets of San Francisco on her way to a new address.
The 1882 large six-room green house was loaded onto giant carts and paraded for six blocks through Golden Gate City, from Franklin Street to Fulton Street, incredible footage from ABC7 showed.
A flock of amused onlookers lined the sidewalks to watch the 1 mph procession.
The first part of the journey involved navigating one of the city’s infamous hills.
“This is always difficult for a home,” said mover Phil Joy.
Joy had to obtain permits from more than 15 municipal agencies, while the homeowner disbursed $ 400,000 in fees and moving costs to relocate the historic home, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
To make way for the rolling house, parking meters were pulled out, tree branches were trimmed and road signs were relocated.
In its former location, the house was valued at about $ 5 million, according to Zillow.
Soon, a building with 60 apartments will be erected on the now vacant site.
