Hilary Duff played safely and responsibly and was quarantined away from her children due to potential exposure to COVID-19 in November.
And now, almost six weeks later, the actress and singer has revealed that she recently had an eye infection while on vacation from filming TV Land’s Younger series in New York.
And found that the painful infection was caused by the many coronavirus tests she had to do while on set.

The 33-year-old actress, who is pregnant with her third child, made the revelation by sharing some of her family’s Christmas holiday adventures in her Instagram stories on Monday, January 4.
She started the long post by clarifying why she has been inactive on social media lately.
‘I took a break from social media for a while during the holiday and just from my phone in general … it was delicious! I missed you all! I hope everyone had a happy holiday, ‘she wrote in a beautiful photo of herself wearing a cap.

Duff, Koma and Banks also flew home to Los Angeles to spend a second Christmas with their son Luca, after spending three months on the East Coast.

But soon the family packed up and went back to what looked like a private plane and went back to New York.
A few hours later, the Texas native shared a lovely black and white photo of herself cradling her baby belly next to her husband and daughter.

Duff is filming the seventh and final season of Younger in the Big Apple, alongside Sutton Foster, Peter Hermann and Molly Bernard.
The single camera series follows the trials and tribulations of Liza Miller, played by Foster, who lies about being younger for a chance to restart his career and love life.
Duff plays Kelsey Peters, a book publisher at Empirical Press who befriends Liza after they start working together.
So far there is no official word on when the final season of the critically acclaimed series will debut.
