Hilaria Baldwin thanks ‘special angels’ who brought her newborn daughter into the world

Hilaria Baldwin opened on social media about the birth of her sixth child, a daughter named María Lucia.

On Thursday, the 37-year-old fitness instructor wrote a long message about the newborn, which arrived five months after she and her husband Alec Baldwin welcomed their fifth child, a son named Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas.

“Our hearts are filled with a lot of gratitude. The Baldwinites longed for a younger sister,” wrote Baldwin. “Many of you must remember the loss of your sister at the age of 4 months in late 2019. There is not a day that does not pass when we do not suffer for our daughter. When I found out that our baby had died, I told our children that their sister would come, but not at that moment. “

“Nothing will ever replace it, but two wonderful souls have entered our lives, and we are humbled to meet them,” she added.

The wellness expert explained how Edu is her rainbow baby, while “special angels … helped bring Lucia into the world.”

“María Lucía Victoria and Eduardo Pau Lucas: our babies that bring light into our lives – almost like twins, we love them very much.” Lucia would have been born with a surrogate.

The “30 Rock” star is also the father of his 25-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous relationship with Kim Basinger.

In the past few months, the famous couple made headlines not for any kind of pregnancy announcement, but for a scandal that saw the wellness expert criticized for allegedly exaggerating her Spanish heritage. Although she denies lying about being born in the United States, Baldwin apologized on Instagram earlier this month.

“I spent the last month listening, reflecting and wondering how I can learn and grow. My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a real sense of belonging to both,” she wrote in part.

Baldwin was detonated in December, when it was discovered that she was not actually born in Spain – as she had suggested – and was instead born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Baldwin was also criticized for allegedly faking a Spanish accent. The accent of the bilingual mother of six has fluctuated noticeably over the years when she appeared on TV.
