“The way I talked about myself and my deep connection with two cultures could have been better explained.”

At the time, Hilaria addressed the charges, clarifying that she “was born in Boston and grew up spending time with my family between Massachusetts and Spain”.

But people were not at all satisfied with her explanation, leading the mother of five to decide to take a break on social media: “I’m so tired. I’m going back to my family because I wasn’t a very good mom, I’m spending a lot of time focusing on that. and I just want to be alone. So I love you, and I’m going to be done for a long time. “

Well, that was six weeks ago. Apparently, Instagram’s fascination is very strong, because Hilaria has not only returned, but has made a new statement about her heritage in the hope of finally putting this scandal to rest.

“I spent the last month listening, reflecting and wondering how I can learn and grow,” she started.

“My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a real sense of belonging to both.”

“The way I talked about myself and my deep connection with two cultures could have been better explained – I should have been clearer and I’m sorry.”

“I am proud of the way I was raised and we are raising our children to share the same love and respect for both.”

“Being vulnerable and striving to learn and grow is what we built our community on and I hope to return to the supportive and kind environment we have built together,” she concluded.

Well then. I think that’s it.
