Hilaria Baldwin loses Cuties baby care brand contract after scandal

Hilaria Baldwin was pulled from a brand deal with Cuties Baby Care after the company received “inquiries” about the employment of Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin, who was recently caught up in a scandal involving his alleged Spanish heritage.

Cuties Baby Care said in a statement to Page Six: “In response to the questions we received, we would like to inform all of our faithful Cuties followers that Hilaria’s partnership with Cuties Baby Care ended in late 2020.”

The company added: “We thank Hilaria for the support it provided in 2020 and we wish her and her family continued health and happiness in the New Year.”

Baldwin, the 37-year-old wife of actor Alec Baldwin, reportedly had a six-month contract that ended in December, and the company decided not to renew the deal in 2021.

“The contract expired in late December after all contractual obligations were fulfilled,” said Cuties Baby Care.

Cuties Baby Care is not the only company to have a brand agreement linked to the Baldwin name – Mattel, Fisher-Price, Bissell and Spindrift have agreements with the former yoga instructor.

Hilaria, a mother of five, recently made headlines after it was discovered that she was not from Spain, as she claimed. Hilaria finally admitted in a video posted last week that she identifies herself as “a white girl” and in fact was born Hillary Hayward-Thomas in Boston, not Mallorca, Spain, as she claimed. Hilaria also said that she moved from Spain to the United States when she was 19 to graduate from NYU, but people came out of the forest to say that actually attended high school with Hilaria in Massachusetts. Hilaria’s parents moved to Spain, but in 2011.

With all this on the table, Alec Baldwin continues to defend his claims and attack critics of her accent and national origin – and he also seems to still believe that she is really Spanish.

Responding to an essay published in People Magazine criticizing Hilaria’s improper identity, Alec Baldwin said on Twitter about his wife’s origin story: “False? Exaggerated? Did you appropriate an accent as an adult? She lived in Spain for many years as a child. She lived in both places. “
