Right away, we don’t have any live photos or official images of the next Galaxy Z Fold yet. This rendering is probably the second best thing, however, since Ben Geskin is known for his quality work in the field and seems to have based his design on most of the leaked information we already have about the supposed Z Fold3.
Rendering Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3
In no specific order, one of the first things that stands out here is the distinctive design of the camera island, clearly taken from the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This is, in fact, a pretty fair assumption to make, as Samsung has a history of transferring the overall style among its device families. Most notably the S and Note lines, within a generation. We cannot be sure that the camera modules themselves or their placement will be identical on the Z Fold3, however. In fact, due to the challenges and space limitations of the form factor, we can probably expect a slightly lowered main camera setup in Fold again.
Speaking of space restrictions, we’ve been seeing S Pen support tips in the next Z Fold for some time. Although most of us naturally assumed that this involves a stylus that slides into the body of the phone, now that Samsung has set a precedent with the S21 Ultra and its completely separate and optional S stylus, many have begun to wonder if perhaps the Korean giant follow that path. Apparently, Ben Geskin thinks so too, since the S Pen in the photo is too big to fit the body of the phone.
Again, this is just an artistic view. One of the most recent rumors we heard about the Z Fold3 states that it will feature smaller screens than its predecessor – internal 7.55 “(below 7.59”) and 6.21 “out of one (below 6.23) “). Supposedly, this sacrifice will be necessary precisely to fit an S Pen into the body of the phone. So this is also a possibility.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2
Another potentially expected feature of the Z Fold3 on a camera under display. Although it is a little difficult to say, this also appears to be embedded in Ben Geskin’s renderings.
If you believe in the vine, you can expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold3 in June this year, supposedly at a price comparable to the current Galaxy Z Fold2.
