New young Hollywood stars are often at risk of impressing audiences. So it’s a good thing that Jennifer Lawrence put her movie career on hold for a few years. The actor was everywhere in the 2010s. And now Timothée Chalamet fans share a similar concern with the actor. Ironically, Lawrence once expressed a very serious passion for Little Women Star.

Lawrence was already growing. She played Mystique on X-Men: First Class – the first of four X-Men films – and won his first Oscar nomination. But the double blow of Hunger Games and Silver linings Playbook made her a superstar. One made Lawrence the leader of the next big franchise. The other made her one of the youngest Oscar winners in history.
And success continued over the years 2010. Lawrence continued to ruin Oscar-nominated collaborations with Silver linings Playbook director David O. Russell (Cheating, Joy) Meanwhile, Hunger Games and X-Men the films kept her at the top of the box office. But in the late 2010s, the young star decided to take a much-needed break.

In 2018, Lawrence was busy promoting spy thriller Red Sparrow. Meanwhile, Chalamet had just come out of a year of creating stars that included both Call me by your name and Lady Bird. And during a 2018 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lawrence revealed that she had a crush on Chalamet. At the time, the actor was 22, while Lawrence was 27.
“Timothee [Chalamet], I’m waiting for him to get a little older, you know? [I’m] shining him like a pig for slaughter, and then I’ll go in there as soon as he’s, like, 30 years old. He’s old enough to say that, right? Is he over 18? What if I said, ‘He’s hot!’ and he is 15 years old? ‘(…) I didn’t know he was so young, ”she said. “Tell him to wait! … [He’s] so talented and yummy! “
Since Lawrence revealed his feelings for Chalamet, Hunger Games star got married. In October 2019, she married Cooke Maroney, an art gallery director. Therefore, it is safe to say that she may have overcome her passion for Chalamet, although she has not updated her thoughts on the young actor.

So far, Lawrence’s most recent on-screen appearance was the box office failure X-Men: Dark Phoenix. But she is planning a return in the near future with two new projects. One of which is Don’t look up, a political satire by Adam McKay (The Big Short, Vice) The film stars Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as an epic cast.
And among the many actors who will appear – including Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Chris Evans – is Chalamet himself. As the film is so mysterious in nature, it is unclear whether Lawrence will split screen time with his old passion. Don’t look up does not have an official release date due to pandemic-related delays, but will debut on Netflix.
