After weeks of rumors, Samsung has finally announced its next Galaxy Unpacked Event scheduled for January 14, and it couldn’t have come at a better time because recently a series of new leaks revealed what we hope to see at Samsung’s next big product showcase.

Perhaps the biggest new leak comes from YouTuber Digital Slang who recently posted a very detailed video of the first impression with Samsung’s next generation wireless headphones: Galaxy Buds Pro. Although the video arrived a few weeks before the expected official debut of the Galaxy Buds Pro, Digital Slang was able to install a pre-release version of the Galaxy Wear app to pair the Galaxy Buds Pro with a Galaxy Fold 2 and check out almost all of its resources.

Similar to older Galaxy Buds +, the Galaxy Buds Pro has a closed design that passively blocks ambient noise, but with a significantly smaller housing than the Digital Slang says it is quite light and comfortable. In addition, Samsung also gave Galaxy Buds Pro active noise cancellation technology with a new ambient sound mode that can automatically turn on if you hear nearby voices, a feature that can be very useful if you need to quickly enter a store and ask a question without having to remove or tamper with Galaxy Buds Pro settings.

As with previous Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds Pro also comes with touch controls built into each headset and a wireless charging case. Unfortunately, while Digital Slang says that the Galaxy Buds Pro sounds very good, he says that his ANC performance is somewhat lackluster, although it is possible that it is because he is using a pre-production version of the Galaxy Wear app or because Samsung has not yet released the final firmware for Galaxy Buds Pro.

Ultimately, the appeal of Galaxy Buds Pro will depend on about ANC performance, especially with a new leak of Sammobile claiming that Galaxy Buds Pro should only cost $ 200, $ 50 less than AirPods Pro.

In addition to the upcoming wireless headphones from Samsung, Winfuture claims to have discovered new official photos and information about the Galaxy S21 Ultra S-Pen and a new cover case for the S21 Ultra that has integrated pen storage. Although not as small or flashy as the S-Pens that normally come with Galaxy Note phones, the S21 Ultra’s pen is supposed to still have the same pressure sensitivity Wacom digitizer along with a few integrated buttons for erasing notes, controlling music or serving as a remote shutter for the S21 Ultra’s camera. The S21 Ultra S-Pen also supposedly still supports Samsung sharesand thanks to its larger size, it may even be more comfortable to wear than the super slim stylus that normally come with Galaxy Note phones. However, unlike the Galaxy Note line, the S-Pen of the S21 Ultra is not included and will instead be available separately at an expected price of around 40 euros (about $ 50).

Finally, in a move that seems designed to beat Apple’s long-standing airTags to the market, 91 cell phones says Samsung is also preparing for the launch of the Galaxy SmartTags, which are small Bluetooth-based tracking dongles. Equal to Block trackers and Apple’s unreleased AirTags, Samsung’s SmartTags should be attached to objects like your keys or a backpack to help you find them more easily if they get lost. Samsung SmartTags are expected to be available in black and oat colors at a price of around $ 20.
