Sunday DHEC numbers

Greenville County led the state of South Carolina in the number of new cases for the eighth consecutive day on Sunday, accounting for 57 out of 390. An additional death was also reported, bringing the total to 546 deaths and 14,286 cases in the state.

Saturday DHEC numbers

South Carolina reported 512 new cases of the new coronavirus on Saturday – mostly in a single day – and seven additional deaths.

With 80 new cases of its own, Greenville County led the state for the seventh consecutive day. The county was identified as a “hot spot”.
