Multiple images of what appears to be next 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and one of its AMG finishes leaked online before the car’s official debut. The photos reveal style adjustments that resemble the Mercedes-Benz CLS and a huge tablet screen instead of dials in front of the driver.

The Australian website Which car, as Auto Express and several other outlets, are showing leaked images of the Class C. The changes are minimal compared to the current car, at least abroad.

The images of the white model on a red background appear to be of a non-performance finish aimed at luxury. The new design mimics the signatures of the Mercedes CLS and CLA sedans, which have also recently been transferred to the E-Class and S-Class sedans.

More images of a different model, probably the AMG-Line version of the sedan, also reportedly leaked (provided via Which car) Some of the images were also shared by the Twitter user OtsileJK. These reveal the now familiar AMG gray car formula, with slightly wider aerodynamic openings and a sportier design on the bumpers – though not much else. It’s definitely just a tweaked update to the current generation of Class C.

The biggest changes come inland. The first thing I notice is the huge iPad-like tablet stuck between the top of the dashboard and the steering wheel. This screen replaces the previous digital display cluster that was, shall we say, better integrated into a harmonious interior design layout. This new screen looks like I should be able to take it with me when I get out of the car.

Images of the interior also show the apparent heads-up display technology and a striped finish treatment on the panel around a giant digital screen in the center.

The acute-angle taillights, the curved shoulder line and the new dashboard seem to make the C-Class stand out even less on the lineup than the current car, ironically. I think Mercedes’ design approach is purely the same flavor in different sizes now. We should see more of the car on the planned reveal date, February 24th.
